Secular cedar root of Lebanon uprooted by the force of the wind 20 years ago. With the installation of a crystal of 3 meters in diameter, a round table with a total weight of about 1.5 tons was obtained. The absence of edges guarantees a greater capacity and, in addition, the central space is perfect for setting the table with the courses of the menu. It also allows a comfortable seat for 20 people, encouraging conversation as King Arthur did in Castle meetings to discuss matters of crucial importance to the realm.
The precious cedar of Lebanon, powerful and majestic, has always been a symbol of power and strength. Already in the time of the ancient Phoenicians, Lebanese cedar was used for its solid wood in the construction of strong and safe boats. Curious and particular is the story narrating the origin of the cedar of Lebanon, the current emblem of the Lebanese flag: in ancient times, the mighty tree covered countless mountainous areas of the Near East, areas in which, currently, there are very few specimens. Starting from the distant 1600s, the cedar of Lebanon began to spread in green spaces throughout Europe. Other typical characteristics of the Cedar of Lebanon are its grandeur (with trees up to 40 meters high), its aroma (the scent remains in the wood even for many years) and its incredible duration over time (up to 2000 years).
